My names Sonique and I am currently in my second year of studying Dentistry at the University of Manchester. I attended a grammar school where I studied A-level Biology, Chemsitry and Mathematics and achieved A*AA in these subjects. My journey in education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to make learning engaging and effective. I enjoy helping students grasp challening concepts and achieve their academic goals. I tailor each lesson and my teaching methods to the individual student to fit the students needs and maximise learning efficicency.

Hello, my name is Shabana and I am a university student studying Psychology. I have a passion to teach students who are struggling or could use extra assistance, and always aim to make students happy in sessions. I specialise in GCSE chemistry as well as primary school maths and english.

I love stories and music. This is why I did an English and Music degree, which I really enjoyed. Reading and writing are such essential and valuable skills, so this, along with my love of stories is why I teach English. I think the Harry Potter books are fantastic. My favourite Shakespeare play is ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, as I love the magic of the forest and the fun of the character Puck. I have also studied Ancient Greek. This proved to be a fascinating language; I found it interesting to learn where so many modern words stem from. I used to run my own drama groups; I believe in the importance of self expression and the confidence that this can bring to people. I have been a tour guide, which was great fun. It was an excellent opportunity to see many interesting sites, whilst meeting many wonderful people. I have worked with a wide range of students over the years and believe in the potential of every individual. In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano. I try to write songs with my partner, who is a much better musician than me. It usually ends up with me writing the lyrics and him writing the music! I also enjoy sailing, writing stories and walking my crazy puppy; she is a mix of sheepdogs, so all she wants to do is round everyone up, including the cat!

I have a deep love of literature and have done ever since I was young and even got some of my primary school poems published too!! I'd say my Hobbies are pretty well rounded. I love to read, write my own pieces, create content across social media platforms and also to keep fit. I am an avid lover of cake and the Marvel cinematic universe also! I am incredibly interested in all things pertaining to women's health and diseases/syndromes that affect particular ethnicities. A recent interest of mine is Cybernetics.

I am approachable and down to earth. Currently studying biomedical science at university and I tutor in maths, biology and chemistry (GCSE). I’ve always loved teaching because it makes me learn more in the process as well. This is my first tutor role so go easy on me 😂
