About me
Education University of Leicester About Me GCSE: English literature, History A-Levels: History; English Literature; Economics Degree: Law LLB Experience with: GCSE’s/A-levels Prior experience tutoring GCSE, A-level, and first year law students. My name is Hamza and here is a little about me. I’m undertaking a law degree, preparing for my graduation year and the exciting opportunities post-Graduation. I have had the pleasure of prior tutoring experience, being a certified Peer Mentor, an elected student Committee Head, building on my prior responsibilities as a English department Prefect and Humanities mentor while in Sixth Form. These were roles of responsibility I took seriously and provided me with extensive experience engaging, discussing with, and assisting students to problem solve, think critically, and develop a work timetable appropriate for them. They were also a privilege for me, to help students to develop a long-term work schedule they could commit to and make their workload seem manageable and conquerable. It's extra-ordinary to see what students are capable of once they able to tackle the underlying problems facing them. Personally, I have a range of interests and hobbies, such as football, piano, writing, taking part in a range of university societies such as Football, films and politics. I also have the benefit of mentoring younger siblings and family members, alongside my commitments to Legal training and a summer internship I am partaking in. I crossed the country when I first attended University and I intend to continue to expand my horizons and experiences post grad. I’m always open to talking about different experiences and stories I have, from university responsibilities, living away from home, and maintaining a work life balance. I always hope to reassure students I’m responsible for. I find most issues and concerns are eased when discussed with someone empathetic to the issue. I hope any experience I have had is able to help them.
