In 2017-2020 I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Ancient World from University College London. In this degree I covered ancient languages, history, archaeology and philosophy. In my spare time I have also done courses with IBM about data science and analytics. Now, I am currently working towards my Master's Degree in Social Work.
About me
Hi! I am a 23 year old experienced teacher, hoping to engage and inspire students to learn. I have done consistent online tutoring of English as a Foreign Language, as well as English Literature, for a cross-border company throughout my time at University. This opportunity gave me the experience of learning how to operate online classrooms and how to produce games and aids appropriate for online tutoring. To add, I have one year of full-time classroom teaching as a professional English teacher in South Korea. In this role, I taught English as a Foreign Language, mathematics, science, and art to children from Nursery to Middle School age. As a classroom teacher I gained the skills to keep students engaged, excited to learn, and get the best results possible, while also having fun. I have three years of online tutoring experience, plus one year face-to-face classroom teaching experience, and I want to use this to help more students excel with their studies! I am super passionate about teaching English as a foreign language, as well as teaching English Language and Literature, up to and including GCSE level. Additionally, with my Bachelor's Degree in Ancient World, I would be eager to also teach history up to this level.
