I was born and brought up in Mauritius and that's where I completed my A-levels and GCSEs. For GCSEs, I studied Maths, English, French, Computer Studies, Accounting, Economics, Urdu and Additional Maths. For A-levels, I studied Maths, Economics and Accounting. After A-levels, I moved to the UK to study at University of Kent and graduated with a First in Law and Accounting and Finance. Following graduation, I worked for five years at a Big 4 firm in Audit and Assurance and also qualified as an ACA. I currently work as an accountant at a FTSE100 pharmaceutical company and at the same time, enjoy tutoring Maths and Accounting to students.
About me
I am a professional accountant and really passionate about numbers, be it Maths or Accounting. Having been through a plethora of exams, I understand how daunting/stressful studying and exams could be for students. I'm here to make that process less burdensome. I can teach the following subjects: Lower level: Maths, Accounting and French GCSE: Maths, Accounting and French ACA: Certificate level (Accounting/Assurance) and Professional level (Financial Accounting and Reporting) Urdu Exam board experience: AQA / Edexcel Languages: I am fluent in English, French and Urdu. Hence I am able to carry out my lessons in these languages to help my students understand the content better. Preferred student age group: Primary / GCSE/ ACA In my free time, I enjoy reading, travelling, dancing.
