About me
Lower Level: English. GCSE: English language, English literature, and humanities. A-Level: Geography and history. Exam board experience: I have dealt mainly with AQA but I'm flexible. Preferred student age group: Any. Hi there! My name is Rowan Yaxley, and since graduating from the University of Sheffield with a 2:1 in International Relations and Politics I have developed a keen understanding of essay writing, critical thinking tasks, and source analysis. Throughout school and university, I learned that the lessons I most looked forward to were always taught by teachers who knew how to use their own personality and curiosity for their subject to make learning an enjoyable experience. I'm eager to incorporate this style of teaching into my own approach and help students reach their potential in a way that is relaxed and engaging. After my undergraduate degree, I began an MA in Music at Leeds Conservatoire which I am still in the process of completing.
