About me
Hello! My name is Yuki and I am currently studying Business at the University of Exeter. I will mainly be tutoring Biology at GCSE and A-Levels, however, I am also available to tutor Japanese (beginners level), verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Subject & Exam boards: IGCSE Biology (Edexcel) A Level Biology (AQA) Verbal/Non-verbal reasoning Beginners Japanese Language: English / Japanese About me: I am half Japanese and half British, currently based in Cornwall for University. I lived in Beijing for 12 years where I studied at a Japanese school. I moved to the UK for year 7 and have stayed here ever since. For my A-Levels, I took Economics, Chemistry, Biology and during my studies, I often taught myself and others concepts to reinforce our understanding. I have been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable and easy to understand as I am considered patient. In addition, I took the verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests for my private school entrance exam and understand the pressures that come with it. I plan to have a clear structure for my tutoring sessions, ensuring areas that require additional support are covered. I believe I have the appropriate materials for tutoring and look forward to helping as many students. I enjoy cooking/baking in my free time and love to watch well-known cooking shows. I also appreciate fashion and often engage in discussions with my friends regarding recent shows and trends. Furthermore, I have an interest in cars and films so please feel free to talk to me about any of those subjects.
