I am a propulsion system design enthusiast possessing extensive knowledge and skills of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and aeroacoustics. My interested topics are aircraft engine, Formula one racing and rocket sciences. I can tutor in English or Mandarin.
About me
What I tutor: 11+, GCSE and A-Level Math Exam Board: AQA, Edexcel, OCR and others Languages: English, Mandarin Who I am: I studied in Southampton University and got my PhD degree in 2008. My current role is a data scientist and the main activities are conducting advanced quantitative data analysis. Why I am tutoring: I am passionate about teaching maths and helping children to achieve their best. I have been tutoring my own children and children of my friends’. I realized that many math concepts can be explained in a better way and skills of solving the math problems can be improved in many kids. I eager to share the experience with wider audience and it is very satisfying to see the children making progress, achieving better test scores and enjoying the math. My teaching style: 1. Maths concepts explained in a way easy for children to grasp; 2. Tailored tuition based on each child's strength; 3. Regular progress check and feedback; 4. Mock tests to build confidence and fine tune the test skills; 5. Helping children enjoying Maths in long term.
